I got the most delightful surprise today when and email informed I was invited to the Anywhere Festival Awards presentation. I sent a note back saying surely there must be some mistake, I didn't win anything. But turns out I did! There's something to be said for the delayed gratification not being on social media can bring. I'm chuffed to have won an award for my first ever solo show, Painting Melody and am looking forward to bringing it to the Sunshine Coast later this year.
