Reflections on Blushing...

Being part of the Zen Zen Zo end of year production, Blushing, directed by Indiah Morris was my first experience of performing in a work of physical theatre. There was laughter; connection; new embodied learnings; tears; terror; and the thrill of seeing up close and personal, the emotive impact on a live audience in the moment it occurred. I love that most of all about theatre: the present moment magic that can only happen in live performance, that cannot be replicated or captured on film but only experienced if you were there. Saying that though, some pics below from the show, rehearsals and behind the scenes to give a taste. Blushing was performed in the stunning Trinity Church Hall.
