VIS270: activity 1.2 process

Step one: figuring out how to capture the waves and undulations of the poinciana pod in three dimensional "slices"...



Step two: figuring out the axis point and measuring and drawing the shapes of each slice to trace onto cardboard.

Step three: tracing shapes and cutting them out, labelling the pieces to identify their position in the 3D piece.

Step four: two coats of (stinky) shellac on each side to give a shiny, leather-like appearance to the cardboard
