VIS270 activity 1.1: 3D form in paper
O good god this was painful. I couldn't feel the medium. I literally spent hours trying a thousand different things and shapes and papers but none of them came together into any cohesive vision.... aaaaaaarrrhhhhhhhghghghghgh...
One thing I like about this piece is you can see the way it's held on the inside, like mechanical tubes and ropes on the inside holding it together... and the contrast between the rubbed paper and the bolts and the finer twists of translucent paper. Twisting the paper was very satisfying - a good way to release my frustration about the project :-P
