Julia

Julia is a short film about the things we take for granted: water, convenience, the continuity of life and the functioning of the physical body. Sometimes, some things are fixable when they break down or fall into disrepair. Other times and other things are not. External influences descend. You can't always wash it away or make it good again. There are unseen and unacknowledged influences despite one's best efforts. And there's nothing to do but go on. In the end we return to a child-like relationship with existence. Julia was my neighbour for a time and the song tells a little of her story.
