For collage collection two, I chose a collage made of two different textured backgrounds in which the top layer has been slashed to reveal what's underneath. As in amber, suspended in a gap is a dragonfly. The collage has been overlaid with cling wrap. Another commentary on our attitudes toward the environment. Big issues are at a distance and we are in insulated from feeling and understanding their real impact by a sterile and clinical layer of convenience. The 7 variations explore this theme.
