Template for chicken wire and fly mesh:

Attempting to flatten chicken wire with heavy books. Difficult to work with and straighten. Originally I wanted to sew the chicken wire sides together to form the cube but instead used pliers to twist the edges together. Fly mesh to size from template, then sewing up edge with fishing line:

Making corners for the plastic straw cube:
